Good work! For many students, the literature is the hardest part of the proposal project. (That's true for many professors too.) Now you have a solid draft and diagram. Over the coming weeks, you may want to tweak the connections between your literature review and the other parts of your proposal, but after today you have cleared this hurdle.

I hope you have a clearer idea, too, of how your proposed project relates to the work others have done and questions they have asked.

At this point, you have good drafts of 4 of the 5 components of your proposal project: the research question, the statement of significance, the literature review, and the bibliography.

The last main component of your proposal is the Proposed Data Collection -- the statement about how you would go about gathering evidence to answer your research question if your proposal got the green light. We will be taking on this component next week.
